MBA Game Plan - Business School Admissions Advice

Veritas Prep has just introduced a terrific new tool to help MBA applicants narrow down their choice of schools. Called the Business School Selector, it gives applicants an idea of how ambitious they should be in targeting top business schools. It takes into account a wide range of criteria, including your academic performance, your work history, and personal demographics. The Business School Selector takes these criteria and, based on historical data, generates a list of schools to which you should consider applying.

The tool should not be taken too seriously, especially since it's in beta mode right now. Keep in mind that there are a lot of intangibles that a tool like this can't take into consideration. But it's a nice reality check for applicants who are just getting started and wondering if they're top-10-MBA material.
